As a QA Lead at NCINGA, you will own and drive the quality engineering strategy across enterprise-grade digital platforms, cloud-native applications, and AI-driven solutions. You will lead end-to-end quality assurance initiatives covering test planning, automation, performance validation, release governance, and continuous quality improvement across agile delivery environments. Working closely with engineering, product, data science and client stakeholders, you will establish scalable QA practices, ensure high-quality software releases, and guide QA teams through complex implementation and delivery cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end QA strategy and execution across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled applications in an agile delivery environment.
Design and implement scalable test frameworks covering functional, regression, integration, system, performance and user acceptance testing.
Guide the team with automation initiatives using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress and Playwright.
Establish quality governance standards, release readiness processes, defect management workflows and QA metrics aligned with organizational delivery goals.
Lead API, microservices, and event-driven testing using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger and related testing frameworks.
Define performance and reliability testing strategies using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools to ensure scalability and platform resilience.
Lead technical QA discussions with clients and internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into comprehensive testing strategies and release plans.
Support pre-sales by contributing to technical proposals, estimations, QA approaches and RFPs for enterprise engagements.
Team management, mentor QA engineers, review test artifacts and ensure adherence to quality standards, security practices, and delivery timelines.
Produce and maintain QA documentation including test strategies, defect reports, QA release notes and maintain QA retrospective practises.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
7–9 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2–3 years leading QA teams or enterprise testing initiatives.
Strong expertise in test strategy design, testing methodologies and enterprise release management practices.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright and Appium is an added advantage.
Experience testing APIs, microservices, and distributed cloud-native applications using Postman, Rest Assured and related tooling.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and CI/CD practices.
Experience with performance, load, and reliability testing using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
Experience with defect management and test management platforms. Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills across technical and business audiences.
KPIs:
Ensure successful delivery of all releases with minimal production defects and high platform stability across client engagements.
Maintain high release quality metrics including defect leakage reduction, test execution efficiency and release readiness compliance.
Contribute to pre-sales success through clear QA strategy definition, accurate estimations, and strong technical positioning.
Establish reusable QA accelerators and testing standards that improve delivery speed and engineering consistency.
Achieve strong client satisfaction scores on product quality, release reliability and overall delivery excellence across all engagements.
