We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver assigned projects on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards. This role requires strong Agile/Scrum leadership, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to bridge technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders. You will work on diverse initiatives including AI/ML projects, software development, and product development lifecycles, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Delivery:
- Drive end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality goals.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved in alignment with sprint commitments and product roadmaps.
Agile & Scrum Leadership:
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage product backlogs in JIRA with clear prioritisation and well-defined user stories.
- Track sprint progress and resolve blockers to maintain delivery velocity.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
- Engage with product owners, data scientists, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to capture requirements and align deliverables.
- Provide clear and timely communication of project updates, risks, and dependencies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
Risk, Issue & Change Management:
- Identify risks early, assess impact, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage change requests following Agile and organisational change management processes.
Quality & Documentation:
- Oversee quality checks to ensure outputs meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a central repository of all project documentation, sign-offs, and meeting records.
- Facilitate smooth project closure and post-project reviews to capture lessons learned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification).
3–4 years of proven experience in project coordination or management.
Hands-on experience managing AI/ML projects, software development, and product lifecycles.
Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with proven ability to manage delivery using JIRA.
Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
