The Senior Executive – People & Culture will lead and oversee the daily operations of the People & Culture function. This role is suited for an experienced HR professional with a strong generalist background, operational rigor, and team leadership experience. Responsible for translating strategy into action, the SE – P&C will ensure process excellence across the employee lifecycle while managing a small team and driving core HR initiatives in compliance, payroll, recruitment, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the deployment, adoption, and data integrity of HR systems and processes.
Lead end-to-end recruitment and internship operations handled by the Executive – Talent Acquisition; ensure alignment with hiring plans and timelines.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., labor laws, EPF/ETF, ESI); validate monthly payroll inputs in coordination with Finance.
Manage operational execution of onboarding, confirmations, internal movements, and exits; ensure adherence to SLAs and documentation standards.
Monitor employee lifecycle milestones to ensure timely and meaningful employee experience, including feedback and compliance during onboarding and offboarding.
Oversee employee engagement, surveys, and culture-building activities in partnership with the Executive – Talent Management.
Support and track the planning of training initiatives and performance management cycles.
Draft and issue offer letters, confirmation letters, and other employee-related documentation.
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries across business units, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Guide employees on HR policies, processes, and benefits; direct them to relevant internal resources when needed.
Promote awareness of key People & Culture processes and support employee participation in organizational initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in HR generalist or operations roles, including direct team supervision.
Strong working knowledge of compliance, payroll, and HR operational frameworks.
Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and a proactive, process-driven mindset.
