We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Network and Data Center Engineer to join our networking team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure and data center operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and data center network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers etc.).
Utilize modern DC technologies: ACI/VXLAN
Monitor network and data center health using tools like Nexus Dashboard, any other NMS.
Perform regular maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch management.
Troubleshoot and resolve network and server issues with minimal downtime.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure designs, processes, and incident handling.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and application teams for infrastructure planning.
Ensure compliance with security policies and implement best practices (e.g., VLAN segmentation, access control).
Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated issues.
Participate in DR drills and capacity planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and data center environments.
Proficiency in Cisco (or equivalent) network hardware and protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, HSRP).
Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, cabling standards, and rack management.
Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V).
Familiarity with firewalls and security appliances (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Good understanding of backup, storage, and high-availability solutions.
Preferred Certifications:
Cisco CCNP Datacenter/Enterprise
RHCSA (Added advantage)
Any other Network Security Related certification (Added Advantage)

Proven leadership in network operations or migration projects.
